Maya Chergova

About

Maya Chergova graduated in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Strasbourg, France. She conducted a Ph.D. at the University of Padua in Italy, studying the role of mitochondrial dynamics in angiogenesis. After that she transferred to industry, and since then she has been working with different oncology-focused CRO companies. Based on these experiences and her interest in exploring and analyzing the progress and trends of biomedical research, in 2019 she began to work as a freelance science writer.
